Healing. Empowering. Living. Progress.

Virtual Intensive Outpatient Treatment for Substance Use & Alcohol Use Disorders

When weekly counseling is not enough, but inpatient or residential treatment is not necessary, the HealthWorksPros HELP® Virtual IOP provides a structured level of care designed to help adults move toward lasting recovery while remaining connected to their everyday lives.

HELP® Virtual IOP serves adults age 18 and older experiencing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD). Through a combination of therapy, psychiatric and medication support, recovery services, clinical monitoring, and care coordination, participants receive comprehensive treatment without having to put work, school, family, or other responsibilities on hold. HELP® Virtual IOP provides the structure and clinical intensity of an intensive outpatient program through convenient virtual care, allowing adults to participate in comprehensive treatment while remaining connected to work, family, and everyday life.

Recovery. Healing. Empowering. A Path Forward.

Comprehensive Treatment for SUD & AUD

Substance use and alcohol use disorders can affect physical health, emotional well-being, relationships, employment, family life, and overall quality of life.

At HealthWorksPros, we approach recovery by treating the whole person, not simply the substance use disorder.

Each participant begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment to determine treatment needs and whether HELP® Virtual IOP is the appropriate level of care. Our clinical team then develops an individualized treatment plan based on the participant’s needs, circumstances, strengths, and recovery goals.

Our Specialized Treatment Tracks

Substance Use Disorder (SUD)

Our SUD track helps participants understand patterns of substance use, recognize triggers, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen recovery skills, reduce relapse risk, and build the support necessary for sustained recovery.

Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD)

Our AUD track provides structured treatment addressing alcohol use, recovery motivation, behavioral patterns, triggers, relapse prevention, emotional and physical wellness, and long-term recovery planning.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

For participants who may benefit from medication as part of their recovery, HELP® Virtual IOP provides access to Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) as clinically appropriate. MAT combines FDA-approved medications with counseling, behavioral health treatment, and recovery support to help reduce cravings, support stability, and strengthen long-term recovery.

MAT is integrated into the participant's individualized treatment plan and supported by HWP's medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health providers.

What Does HELP® Virtual IOP Include?

HELP® Virtual IOP provides a comprehensive combination of clinical and recovery services designed to address the multiple factors that can influence successful recovery.

Group Therapy

Structured therapeutic groups provide a supportive environment for participants to develop recovery skills, understand behavioral patterns, strengthen coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, address triggers, and build relapse-prevention skills.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one counseling allows participants to work privately with a clinician on individual concerns, treatment goals, relationships, recovery progress, and barriers that may affect sustained wellness.

Substance Use Counseling

Qualified addiction and behavioral health professionals provide specialized counseling focused on substance use, alcohol use, recovery, behavioral change, relapse prevention, and long-term wellness.

Psychiatric Evaluation & Support

Participants have access to psychiatric evaluation and ongoing psychiatric services as part of HWP’s integrated behavioral health approach.

Medication Management

When clinically appropriate, participants receive medication evaluation, monitoring, education, and ongoing medication-management support.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT/MOUD)

For participants who may benefit from medication as part of their recovery, HWP provides appropriate Medication-Assisted Treatment and Medications for Opioid Use Disorder as part of an individualized treatment approach.

Weekly Toxicology Screening

Weekly urine toxicology screening supports clinical monitoring, treatment planning, accountability, and recovery progress.

Family & Couples Support

Recovery often affects more than one person. When clinically appropriate, family and couples support can help strengthen communication, relationships, understanding, and the participant’s recovery support system.

Peer & Recovery Support

Recovery-focused support helps participants strengthen motivation, develop healthy connections, and build strategies for maintaining long-term recovery.

Care Coordination & Case Management

Our team helps participants navigate behavioral healthcare, primary care, insurance, community resources, recovery services, and other needs that may affect treatment and long-term wellness.

Individualized Treatment Planning

Each participant receives an individualized treatment plan based on clinical needs, personal circumstances, recovery goals, and ongoing progress.

Measurement-Based Care

Clinical assessments and outcome measures help our treatment team monitor symptoms, treatment engagement, recovery progress, and changing needs throughout the program.

Crisis & Safety Planning

Clinical risk assessment and individualized safety planning are incorporated into treatment, with coordination to a higher level of care when clinically necessary.

Discharge & Aftercare Planning

Recovery continues after IOP. Before discharge, our team works with participants to establish an appropriate transition plan that may include outpatient counseling, psychiatry, medication management, MAT/MOUD, primary care, peer support, and community-based recovery resources.
